After so many years of listening to this music you realize what it does to you - it fills you with sadness because it takes you to such impossible places and heights. The hopes and thoughts you get from listening to it are unlikely for most, but they're still addictive, enthralling, and far from senseless.
At last, music leaking out of windows on Mayflower Hill can be heard across the world.
Panhandlers, squeegee men, chelsea boys, korean grocers, mobsters, wall street brokers, puerto ricans, russians, upper east side wives, louisville sluggers, uptown brothers, corrupt cops, and vagabonds... There finally might be a few anthems worth sharing.
