You may think you know Fake Blood but you don't. Try and pin the man down to one particular genre and you'll fall more miserably than Charlie Sheen on a Monday morning comedown. Enough with the pigeonholes.

Theo Keating - Fake Blood aka DJ Touche makes music...it might be house, hip hop, or tribal beats with a shiver of afro percussion. It could even be all three on the same slab on vinyl, but it's never, ever predictable.

Theo made his name in 1994 as one half of The Wiseguys, a Fatboy Slimish southern fried shocker. Engrossed with Adidas-clad old funk culture and break records with pause button loops, The Wiseguys are responsible for birthing "Start the Commotion" made famous by Zoolander and Kangaroo Jack - a personal all time favorite box office bomb.

Today, Theo co-pilot's The Black Ghosts with Simon William Lord (former member of the group Simian, which not long after his leave evolved into Simian Mobile Disco). Fake Blood is a kind of shadow that Theo's past casts over the present and it's arguably his most powerful persona. Although he cares little for publicity, the truth about Theo lies behind a curtain of the hardest hitting, most skull crushing electro definitions that I've ever come across.
